What is a Transferable Account?

A Transferable Account (TA) is a specialized account structure designed to facilitate secure cross-chain asset management and transfer. It operates using multisig, ensuring that both the user and Mycel jointly manage the account, enhancing security while maintaining decentralization.

How does asset exchange work with Mycel?

Users deposit assets into a designated blockchain account and submit an Intent specifying the asset they wish to acquire. A Solver processes the Intent, matching and executing the swap. After verification, ownership of the respective Transferable Accounts is exchanged, effectively transferring the assets without traditional blockchain transactions.

What makes Mycel's approach unique?

Mycel uses TSS (Threshold Signing Scheme) to enable updating the signing party's composition without changing the multisig account's public key or address. This allows assets to be transferred without executing transactions on the underlying blockchain, creating a more efficient cross-chain experience.
